Special session on : “Advanced Computing in image and Computer Vision Data Science”


What is seen and what is interpreted are the questions which generally addressed in computer vision. Computer vision provides the high-level understanding of images and videos. At the present time, everyone is dealing with the image and video data. Fundamental concepts of image and video processing move around relevant data of image or video. Due to the rapid growth in hardware, need of computationally non-expensive methodologies or algorithms is raised. Real world problems e.g. surveillance system, robotics, medical image analysis and interpretation, etc. are the areas where different image and video algorithms have been applied. Due to the use of smart mobile devices, large numbers of research activities have arisen in last decade. Computational intelligence and advanced computing are the areas where the researchers, academicians and industries are working on.

The proposed special session aims to bring together theories and applications of advanced computing techniques to image and vision processing problems.
